Peeling
In the treatment of chemical peeling, some fruit acids such as alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, pyruvic acid, as well as enzyme-containing products are used. Fruit acids eliminate this thickening by disrupting the intercellular connections in the overly layered layer on the skin, and also by entering the excess fat cluster between the cells; It acts by removing excess oil on the skin. In addition, through enzyme peelings, which are used to disrupt the effect of some enzymes that cause staining; It is also possible to remove the stains on the skin to a large extent.
Chemical peeling; It is a cosmetic application aimed at eliminating some problems in the skin by applying various fruit acids to the skin.
Areas where chemical peeling is used:

– Removal of blemishes on the skin
– Ensuring vitality and brightness of the skin
– Maintaining the moisture balance of the dehydrated skin
– Ensuring the oil balance of the skin that is too oily

How many sessions is the application?
Although the application varies according to the patient's complaint, it is planned as an average of 4 sessions. However, daily peelings, enzyme peelings, and peelings made for the purpose of preparing the patient's skin for laser are also sufficient for a single session.
Session intervals in multi-session peelings vary between 1-2 weeks.
Is it a painful procedure?
It is not a painful procedure. Depending on the products used during the application, a little burning is felt, but this is a very short-term feeling. Anesthesia is not required before the application.
How long does the application take?
The application takes about 10-20 minutes.
What should be considered after the application?
After chemical peeling, a slight redness occurs on the face, depending on the product used. If it is a peeling made for the purpose of deep peeling; During the day, peeling can be seen on the face. For this reason, after the chemical peeling application, the face should not be washed during that day, and any product should not be applied to the face other than the doctor's recommendation. After the application, sunscreen cream should be applied, again according to the doctor's recommendation. Massage should not be done on the face, hair should not be removed from the face with wax or thread method, the face should not be itchy, especially using nails. In the days following the application, the face should be constantly moisturized with a moisturizer given by the doctor's recommendation.
What are the side effects of chemical peeling?
If regular sunscreen cream is not used after the application, unwanted staining may occur. This may be a mild burning sensation that disappears within a few hours in some patients. However, the patient can resume normal social activities on the same day.
In which seasons is it applied?
Although there are peeling products that are applied in summer today; It should be applied in spring and winter when the sun is very effective.
